Deluded over God

2011 is to be the year I resist pushy, deluded, secularists who whine about Christians having too much influence and too many rights and privileges. These are the self same wonderfully myopic people who scream about having their rights and personal space impinged upon whilst they do exactly that to people of faith! Telling anyone who will listen (or not) how people are naturally 'good' and have no need of God (or gods) nor any ethical code that comes from a faith. Of course no matter how hard one protests, this is yet another hollow and deluded imagining which needs to be addressed(and corrected).

But the humanists and secularists are only part of my problem with deluded people. There's another group who need some dealing with too. These are the Christians who create phoney science to support literal days of creations, young earth and other essentially non-showstopper issues and those who would trample over others in the assumption that whatever they do, because it is done in 'god's' name, and therefore they have a right and are (always it seems) 'in the right'.

If you want to pretend to be scientific, rational or intellectual or wish to portray yourself as 'Christian' then you'd best make sure you are or else you can peddle your wares elsewhere - I'm not playing any more!

Happy 2011
